This session explores the essential elements of creating and implementing a successful learning strategy in today’s dynamic environment. Participants will engage in active chats on the challenges they face in developing effective learning initiatives and discover practical solutions to overcome these obstacles. We’ll introduce the concept of Strategy On A Page (SOAP) as a powerful tool for communicating and aligning stakeholders around key strategic elements.

Joining us from WeLearn, Sean Stowers, founder and CEO, and Dr. Bill Ryan, strategic partner, will engage participants with real-world examples faced when developing strategic learning solutions. Using a case study, Stowers and Dr. Ryan will provide participants with insights and practical tools to enhance their organization’s learning initiatives and drive sustainable growth.

William Ryan

After years as a CLO and CIO driving talent and performance strategy, Bill Ryan found his way to WeLearn as a Learning Strategist focused on optimizing workforce performance through learning. Blending deep expertise across learning, technology, and leadership development, Bill partners with diverse organizations to close skills gaps, increase capability, and achieve business goals. His approach strategically aligns the 3Ps: people, process, and purpose.

Bill Ryan, Ph.D., has designed solutions for government, corporate and health care clients including the Center for Internet Security, Liberty Mutual, Delta Faucet and state college systems. He holds a Ph.D. in computing technology in education and introduced emerging models like “workflow learning” to equip workforces with agile problem-solving.
